About Project X
In the Beginning...
In the beginning there was a dream; a dream to invite a group of local youth
to worship God under the stars. That was four years ago.
The founders of Project X could not have dreamed of the success that they
would see in just four short years. To what can this be attributed? Only to
the constant moving of the holy Spirit. God is working hard in the hearts and
lives of the youth of our communities and he has invited Project X to be a
central part in his work.
Project X Has a goal: to create unity in the community of young believers
and to reach out to those who are in need of God’s unconditional love. It is a
movement; an extension of the church-the body of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-13 speaks of the “fullness of Christ” :
“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be the prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers , to prepare God’s people for the works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
